Project Management Methodology and Integration Test

When integration/performance testing a product;

• Think about the systems and things the product will interface and interact with
• Check all the interfaces, check all conditions
• Use use cases to create a set of desired performance metrics
• Consider both performance (how fast) and load (how many)
• Ensure you have buy in for the metrics from your users
• Use automated testing or manual and run more than once
• Ensure performance testing is completed based on a busy day
• Don't forget to test your infrastructure processes, e.g. backups are taking place, recovery plan is in place
