Online To-do list

Our Depute online to do application gives you the ability to store lists holding many types of task. A to-do list being only one. Access your own todo cloud which will mean access anywhere and probably a lot less emails for you to manage as people will work collaboratively in the cloud as opposed to via email.

A to-do list is a list of tasks that need to be completed, typically organised in order of priority.

If you are wondering what a checklist is compared to a todo list?. There is not much difference except a checklist generally is for getting one task or activity out of the way, whereas a todo list can contain solitary tasks, or checklists, though we use them Interchangeably throughout our documentation.

An example of a to-do list might be a shopping list;

When attending to a to-do list you might find you have only half attended to a task, if that is the case then ensure you have marked off where you have got up to, so when you come back to that task you know where to begin again.



Efficient ways to manage your shopping.

Our shopping list application/grocery list application lets you manage your lists the way you want.

Firstly enter the details of the items you want need to buy in your online shopping list (or you can select from a pre-defined list if you don't want to type all the items in).

Then, if you want, enter how often you think you buy the item.



It's then displayed straight away in your shopping list. When you have ticked off that you have bought it, the item automatically is re-scheduled to remind you the next time this item comes due. That way you are not having to remember each time something comes round to try or buy.



Two of the ways we have found useful in making the weekly shop more efficient are to either;
- tick off items as they are bought each week on your computer or mobile. (Letting the depute application then work out the next recurring date). or
- have a full printable list of groceries/full printable list of shopping which you can put by the larder/fridge and tick off when the items are ready for re-purchase.
