The buddhist heros are male deity reflected in mandala and have related mantra. Mediation upon them is a manifestation of the six perfections.

A practitioner can visualize the male consorts with or without the six yoginīs. (Generally a practitioner visualizes the six yoginīs and their six male consorts on six areas of his body and the body of deity that he visualizes as armors of yoginīs and heroes for protection of the body. For this reason the six yoginīs and the six heroes are called “the two armors.”)
The Vṛtti text comments that a practitioner visualizes the six yoginīs on the five fingers and nails of the left hand, the six male consort deities on the five fingers and nails of the right hand, and the maṇḍala consisting of them on the palm of the hands.

When represented in a mandala they are usually positioned with and about a lotus, which five petals and whose pericarp is abundant with stamens and pistils.

The Six Buddhist Heros

01. Vajrasattva.

The manta of Vajrasattva is Oṃ ha, vaṃ, hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ, svāhā.
Vajrasattva is the male consort of Vajravārāhī one of the six yoginī.
Vajrasattva has three faces, six arms, three eyes on each face, is ornamented with the six mudrā marks, holds a vajra, a bell, a skull bowl, a skull staff, a scimitar, a drum, and a hairless head, and is dancing, wearing a garment made of human skin.
Vajrasattva is white, is the attendant Bodhisattva of Akṣobhya , is from the Vajra family which in turn represents patience and the wisdom of mirror like awareness.
Represented in the East and west of Akṣobhya in a mandala.
Vajrasattva, who is the tantric transformation of the Bodhisattva, is considered as the most important Mahabodhisattva.

02. Vairocana.

The mantra of Vairocana is Oṃ, namaḥ hi, bhrūṃ,hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ, svāhā.
Vairocana is the male consort of Yāminī one of the six yoginī.
Vairocana has one face, four arms, hold a skull bowl, a skull staff, a drum, a mark and a bell.
Vairocana is yellow.

03. Padmanarteśvara.

The mantra of Padmanarteśvara is Oṃ, svāhā hu, hrīṃ, hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ, svāhā.
Padmanarteśvara is the male consort of Mohinī one of the six yoginī.
Padmanarteśvara has one face, four arms, hold a skull bowl, a skull staff, a drum, a mark and a bell.
Padmanarteśvara is red.

04. Heruka.

The mantra of Heruka is Oṃ, vauṣaṭ he, heṃ, hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ, svāhā.
Heruka is the male consort of Samcālinī one of the six yoginī.
Heruka has one face, four arms, hold a skull bowl, a skull staff, a drum, a mark and a bell.
Heruka is dark blue.

05. Vajrasūrya.

The mantra Vajrasūrya of is Oṃ, hūṃ hūṃ ho, āṃ,hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ, svāhā.
Vajrasūrya is the male consort of Samtrāsinī one of the six yoginī.
Vajrasūrya has one face, four arms, hold a skull bowl, a skull staff, a drum, a mark and a bell.
Vajrasūrya is red.

06. Paramāśva or Padmanarteśa.

The mantra of Paramāśva is Oṃ, phaṭ haṃ, hrīḥ, hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ, svāhā.
Paramāśva is the male consort of Candikā one of the six yoginī.
Paramāśva has one face, four arms, hold a skull bowl, a skull staff, a drum, a mark and a bell.
Paramāśva is green.
