The deities to the five senses offerings are made to may be peaceful or wrathful representations.
The texts sometimes refer also to a sixth sense, that of mind, which does not usually figure in a ceremony but which may be honoured by offering a page of scripture.
When an offering is made to a wrathful deities it as made with a skull cup (kapāla) containing an effigy of the gift.

The Five Buddhist Qualities Of Desire

01. Peaceful: Mirror | Wrathful : Eyes

This is to please the sense of form, or sight.

02. Peaceful: Bell or Musical instrument | Wrathful : Ears

This is to please the sense of hearing.

04. Peaceful: Incense, nutmeg, or scented flower : | Wrathful : Nose

This is to please the sense of smell.

04. Peaceful: sugar, a conch filled with curds, or the sacrificial cake gtor-ma | Wrathful : Tongue

This is to please the sense of taste.

05. Peaceful: A piece of silk cloth | Wrathful : Heart

This is to please the sense of touch.
